An American F-15 fighter jet reportedly crashed over Kuwaiti airspace after being engaged by a MIM-104 Patriot air defence battery, in accordance with preliminary studies.
The Patriot system is designed to intercept incoming threats reminiscent of ballistic missiles and hostile plane.
