The Department of Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) on Friday introduced the launch of two post-graduate programmes – M.Tech in AI/ML in Chemical Engineering and M.Tech in Computational Chemical Engineering.
While the AI/ML course will prepare college students to use superior algorithms and analytics to issues equivalent to course of optimisation, supplies discovery, and others, the Computational Chemical Engineering course focuses on multiscale modelling and simulation of complicated chemical processes. The curriculum blends chemical engineering with arithmetic and computing. Both the programmes emphasise analysis, hands-on computational coaching, and business interplay, the institute mentioned.
“Engineering innovation today is increasingly driven by data, computation, and intelligent systems. The future of Engineering lies at the intersection of domain expertise and digital intelligence. These new courses represent IITHs vision to train engineers who can harness technologies for sustainable industry and society,” mentioned Director B.S. Murty.
