Archana Puran Singh, along with her sons Aaryamann Sethi and Ayushmaan Sethi, recently visited Samay Raina’s house, and the vlog was, without a doubt, full of comedy and punches. During the vlog, Samay Raina made Archana speak to his mom on a video call, which became the highlight of the video. While speaking to Archana, Samay’s mother took a jab at Sunil Pal, who has been speaking ill about stand-up comedians.
What Samay’s Mom Said
Speaking to Archana, Samay’s mother shared, “Aapko roz dekhte hai hum.” To which the actress said, “Thank you. Samay keh raha tha aapki tabiyat thik nahi hai.” And this is when the most hilariously shocking moment of the vlog came. Replying to Archana, the comedian’s mom said, “Haan thoda bimar ho, vomit hogaya.” To this, when Samay asked his mother, “Kya dekh liye aapne aisa?” she replied, “Kuch nahi dekha, Sunil Pal ki shakal dekhi.”
This left Archana and Samay in splits. Listening to the comeback, the actress told the stand-up comedian, “Now I know where the humour comes from. Kya killer joke mara hai aapne!” Later, Samay clarified, “Sunil Pal ne bahot ulta sidha bola tha.”

Sunil Pal had labelled Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia as ‘terrorists’ following the India’s Got Latent controversy. Sunil, in an interview with Zoom, said, “I think that the time has come to take action against these so-called comedians who are actually not comedians, but rather a blot on our society. They are terrorists who use foul language and obscene content. They claim to be content creators, but they have no content and are not creators. I believe they should be punished with at least 10 years in prison for spreading such filth.” However, later the two resolved their issues and even teamed up for an advertisement.

Earlier this year, Samay Raina got embroiled in a controversy and faced immense backlash for his YouTube show India’s Got Latent. In one episode, where Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija, and Ashish Chanchalani appeared as guests, Ranveer made ‘crass’ sex jokes. He asked one contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop?” The episode faced widespread outrage, and FIRs were filed. Later, the show was removed from the platform.
Amid the legal cases, Samay made a grand comeback with his shows both in India and internationally. In August this year, he posted a picture from his Mumbai shows and revealed that he performed for 25,000 people.
Sharing a few glimpses from the event, he mentioned, “Mumbai, I love you so much. You have given me everything. Last two nights I performed for 25,000 people in my city. I am overwhelmed, I’m grateful to every single person who came out to see me. It means the world to me. I love you guys so much; God has been kind.”
