Karnataka Professor Proposes To Student In Front Of Class, Beaten On Campus, Sri Siddhartha Medical College

Tension prevailed at Sri Siddhartha Medical College (SSMC) in Karnataka’s Tumkur after an assistant professor proposed to a feminine pupil in entrance of his class. In response, college students bodily assaulted the professor. The school, owned by Karnataka Home Minister, G Parameshwara, has suspended the professor, and an FIR has been registered towards him. 

In a video of the proposal shot by one of many college students, the professor, recognized as Abdul, is heard saying, “I could not resist the immense love given by the batch, and I would like to propose to one of the most important girls in your batch… and I shall distribute chocolates to the entire batch.” He concluded by saying “I love you” to the lady.

“Didn’t you say ‘I love you’?” the professor cross-examined the coed.

“When did I propose?” the lady requested.

“There is CCTV footage,” he replied.

When the lady requested the professor to indicate her the proof, he ended the dialog by saying, “I’ll talk to you tomorrow.”

The girl refused to speak. 

“It’s okay,” mentioned the professor, who then requested the scholars to have goodies earlier than strolling out of the classroom.

In one other video from the campus, the feminine pupil is seen hitting the professor together with her footwear, whereas others are seen bodily attacking him. Injured within the assault, the professor managed to flee from the spot.

The school has suspended the professor, and a case is being registered. Further investigation is underway.
