Is Claude down? Thousands report outage on Downdetector

Claude outage: Several experiences have began to reported points with Claude on Downdetector. At the time of this writing, there are over 4,000 experiences, which is considerably excessive for such a short interval.

Claude has acknowledged the outage on its standing web page, noting an increase in errors. Problems had been most reported on Claude Chat (48%), app (28%) and Claude Code (14%).

“The issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented,” it stated.

Meanwhile, a number of customers reported about Claude outage on X. “Error Alert on Claude: “This is not working proper now. You can strive once more later.” It worked on the phone app,” one person wrote.
