Indian Oil dividend 2026: IOCL board meeting tomorrow to announce cash reward?

In the regulatory filing, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOC) informed the BSE that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the company is scheduled on Thursday, February 5, 2026, to consider and approve the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2025.

“Pursuant to regulation 29 (1) & (2) and 50(1) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirements), Regulations 2015, it is hereby informed that a Board Meeting of the Company is scheduled on Thursday, 5th February 2026, inter alia, to consider and approve the Standalone and Consolidated Unaudited Financial Results of the Company for the quarter ended 31st December 2025.” said the company in an exchange filing.

Indian Oil had announced its second-quarter earnings at around 4 PM on October 27, 2025. Therefore, it is expected that the company might declare its Q3 FY26 earnings at the same time on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

IOC board meeting: Likely to declare dividend

The company has scheduled its board meeting for tomorrow, February 5, to consider and declare Q3 results for the quarter ended 31st December 2025. It is also expected that the board may declare an interim dividend for the financial year 2026.

Indian Oil Corporation, a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, had announced its interim dividend for the financial year 2025-26 according to the exchange filing dated 12 December 2025. The company had declared an Interim Dividend of 50 per cent, translating to Rs 5.00 per equity share of face value of Rs 10/- each for the financial year 2025-26. The record date was fixed on December 18, 2025, and the payment was made to the eligible shareholders on or before 11 January 2026.

Indian Oil, a Maharatna PSU, had also issued bonus shares in a 1:1 ratio in July 2022. Since then, the company has paid a final dividend on four occasions: Rs 2.40 in August 2022, Rs 3 in July 2023, Rs 7 in July 2024, and Rs 3 in August 2025. Additionally, it has declared an interim dividend of Rs 5 in November 2023.

At the time of writing this report (1:028 PM), the shares of IOC were up by 2.54 per cent to trade at Rs 171.80. The previous closing scrip was Rs 167.55.
