Hyderabad: A complete of 105 volunteers from Rangareddy and Hyderabad accomplished their coaching as ‘Youth Disaster Friends’ with Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) on Tuesday, February 24.
The volunteers underwent a seven-day coaching from February 18 to 24 in Fathullaguda, and can help HYDRAA throughout heavy rains and floods.
Commissioner AV Ranganath distributed certificates to volunteers and warranted that they are going to be given precedence throughout recruitment within the HYDRAA Disaster Response Force.
The commissioner stated that these folks would be the first to reply throughout disasters, working alongside aid groups from varied departments.
