Des Moines Man Charged with Theft and Insurance Fraud | Iowa … – Iowa Insurance Division |
Des Moines – Faid Ali, age 26, of Des Moines was charged with one count of 1st Degree Theft by Deception (Class C Felony) and one count of Insurance Fraud – Presenting False Information (Class D Felony).
The charges against Ali stem from an investigation that began in November of 2022. According to criminal complaints filed by the Iowa Insurance Division’s Fraud Bureau, Ali provided false statements to an insurer in connection with an insurance claim.
On January 23, 2023, Ali was arrested and booked into the Polk County Jail. Ali was released under pretrial conditions.
