An explosion broken a Jewish college in Amsterdam early on Saturday, in what town’s mayor described as “a deliberate attack against the Jewish community”.
The explosion on the college in an upmarket residential neighbourhood on the south facet of Amsterdam solely prompted restricted harm, the mayor, Femke Halsema, mentioned in a press launch, as police and firefighters arrived on the scene shortly.
No accidents have been reported.

“This is a cowardly act of aggression against the Jewish community,” Halsema mentioned.
“Jewish people in Amsterdam are increasingly confronted with antisemitism. This is unacceptable.”
