Guwahati: The metropolis on Tuesday bought its thirtieth flyover and Assam’s longest, with CM Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurating the Maharaja Prithu Flyover, named after the Thirteenth-century Kamarupa ruler recognized for defeating Turko-Afghan invader Bakhtiyar Khilji in 1206.The four-lane flyover connects Bamunimaidam on the japanese finish of the slender MRD Road with Ambari on the western finish.
