BSNL commissions 6,132 4G websites throughout Andhra Pradesh

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has commissioned 6,132 4G websites throughout Andhra Pradesh to offer high-speed web and enhanced cell companies to subscribers, introduced M. Sheshachalam, chief basic supervisor (AP telecom circle).

Of these, round 1,325 websites have been commissioned beneath the DBN-funded 4G Saturation Project, protecting 2,641 distant uncovered villages, in a bid to bridge the rural-urban digital divide, he stated, addressing the media right here on Thursday. “Additionally, 903 sites will be commissioned soon to cover another 1,300 villages,” he added.

Mr. Sheshachalam stated that the variety of 4G clients have gone up from 5 lakh to 17 lakh within the state, whereas cell information consumption has risen from 184 TB to 410 TB per day. Similarly, the 4G voice name quantity has elevated fourfold, from 1.5 lakh Erlangs to six lakh Erlangs per day.

Meanwhile, the BSNL has commissioned 112 DBN-funded 4G websites within the undivided Chittoor district (Tirupati Telecom district), whereas the venture is beneath means in 57 websites.
