A Sukhoi 30 MKI fighter jet has gone lacking from radar contact in Assam. Efforts are on to find it, officers have stated.
The plane had taken off from Jorhat, Assam and was final involved at 7.42 pm, the India Air Force stated in a submit on X, previously Twitter.

The Su-30 MKI — a extremely customised model of the plane developed by Russia within the Nineteen Eighties — has been the spine of the Indian Air Force. Multiple squadrons of the SU-30 MKI are deployed within the northeast.
The Russian-built Su-30s have been delivered first in 1997. Currently, they’re being produced by the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. More than 250 plane are at the moment with the IAF.
