CBSE Board Exams 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) at this time clarified that the Class 12 Mathematics query paper held on March 9, 2026, is real and that the safety of the examination stays uncompromised, after issues emerged over QR codes printed on some query papers linking to a video on YouTube.
In a press release, the CBSE stated that query papers are embedded with a number of safety features, together with QR codes, which assist confirm their authenticity in case of a suspected safety breach.

The board stated that in a number of units of the Class 12 Mathematics paper, scanning one of many QR codes appeared to redirect customers to a YouTube video. This raised doubts amongst some college students and fogeys concerning the authenticity of the query paper.

Responding to the issues, CBSE stated the query papers used within the examination are real and that their safety stays intact. The board added that the difficulty has been taken critically and needed steps are being taken to make sure that such incidents are usually not repeated sooner or later.
“The Board confirms that the question papers are genuine. The security of the question papers remains uncompromised,” the board stated.
