Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday (March 7, 2026) congratulated the individuals and Government of Nepal for the successful conduct of elections and mentioned the historic milestone is a proud second in Nepal’s democratic journey.

Rapper-turned-politician Balendra Shah’s Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) was on Saturday (March 7, 2026) heading in the direction of a landslide victory in Nepal’s first normal elections for the reason that violent Gen Z protests final 12 months, shattering the dominance of the established political events.
