Haryana schooling finances marginally dips regardless of 10.28% rise in whole outlay

The Haryana finances outlay for 2026-27 has gone up by 10.28% to ₹2,23,658.17 crore in comparison with the earlier finances, however the allocation for schooling as proportion of the overall expenditure has marginally dipped within the present finances.

Presenting his second finances, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini earmarked ₹22,915.27 crore for the elementary, secondary and the upper schooling for the 2026-27 monetary yr, which is 10.24% of the overall outlay. However, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-ruled authorities had earmarked 10.59% of the overall outlay for the schooling sector within the earlier finances. As per the finances estimates for 2025-26, the Haryana authorities had allotted ₹21,722.79 crore for the schooling towards the overall expenditure of ₹2,05,017.29 crore. It included ₹.3,874.09 crore for the upper schooling.
