The Adani group on Sunday mentioned its Haifa port in Israel is totally safe and in operational situation amid heightened army battle in Iran.
In a press release, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone mentioned all staff are secure, and all port property and infrastructure are totally safe.
The US and Israel on Saturday launched a army operation towards Iran, killing its Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In retaliation, Iran has launched missile and drone assaults on Israel, together with at Haifa.
“Haifa Port Company confirms that all its employees are safe, and all port assets and infrastructure are fully secure and in operational condition,” the assertion mentioned.
It, nonetheless, didn’t say if any of the Iranian drones or missiles had hit the port.
The port authority continues to observe the scenario and is in shut coordination with the Ministry of Transport and Road Safety of Israel, and is working as per their directions.
“We remain committed to ensuring the safety of our people and the continuity of operations, maintaining stability for Israel’s supply chain and international trade,” it added.
