The English Premier League will be the focus of a special match directing session at The Football Summit, sponsored by TVU Networks. Rachael Nightingale, Premier League, head of media operations and innovation, Sarah Cheadle, Sky Sports, senior football director, and Rob Levi, TNT Sports, senior director, will discuss the tech being introduced, including how and why they did it, and detail how the league supports its host broadcasters with technological innovation.
Also on the programme, Oscar Sanchez, FIFA, head of host broadcast production, and Paul King, HBS, senior producer, FIFA World Cup 2026, will deliver an exclusive insight into the TV production of the FIFA World Cup 2026, with a focus on the host broadcast operation.
In addition, FilmNova executive producer and head of production Alison Lombardi, will take delegates inside the production plan for Channel 4’s coverage of the Women’s FA Cup, revealing how the team is shaping a fresh, fan-first approach to storytelling, presentation and live coverage.
Other speakers include Marcus Beisiegel, SVP audiovisual rights & media product at the DFL, and Sky Germany SVP of sports production Alessandro Reitano, who will share how the two organisations are redefining the fan and customer experience, and Marcin Serafin, Ekstraklasa Live Park, chief operating officer, who will explore how the Ekstraklasa league in Poland uses data and AI tools across broadcast, digital and fantasy platforms.
The day will also feature workshops exploring the topics of developing female leaders in sports broadcasting and MAM systems.
