Afghanistan’s Taliban gov’t spokesman says assaults kill “numerous soldiers” as Pakistan says its forces have responsded.

Afghanistan has launched assaults againt Pakistani army positions alongside the border in response to Pakistani air strikes final week, Taliban authorities stated, as Pakistan stated its forces had responded.

The two international locations’ 2,611-kilometre (1,622-mile) lengthy border is named the Durand Line, which Afghanistan has not formally recognised.
Mujahid later posted that Afghan forces had killed “numerous soldiers” and that “some have also been captured alive”, including that 15 outposts have been “captured from the enemy”.
Pakistan’s data ministry stated on X that Pakistani troops had delivered an “immediate and effective response” to Taliban hearth throughout a number of sectors in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
